WRONG WRONG WRONG How do I know? I am an organic farmer, packer and shipper. We as farmers do infact apply pesticides, herbicides and tons of fertilizers.

  9. mrjotat - March 10, 2010 at 5:59 pm

the truth is there are thousands of chemicals in our food. science will never be better than nature. the human body can’t identify all of the bullshit that is man made.

The Organic movement is like a religion.I’m wasting my time trying to Educate you.

  14. CropDusterMan - March 10, 2010 at 8:23 pm

Organic doesn’t mean Pesticide free.I am a crop duster and have many organic farmers as customers.

  15. crisology - March 10, 2010 at 8:51 pm

1 reason organic is so expensive is because of government subsidized cheap crops from huge agribusinesses used for livestock and dairy industry, this outcompetes real farmers. u can also grow some of your own food.

  16. crisology - March 10, 2010 at 9:50 pm

Not your style? Cancer is your style?

i love organic eat nothing but organic, mostly it does depend on the money, but in a way it does seperate when it comes to incomes, i think everyone should be able to get healthy they should make it affordable for everyone, people wouldnt eat fruitloops if they could afford organic, its hard out here for people, doesnt mean they dont want to eat healthy,

  19. Shed360 - March 10, 2010 at 11:15 pm

Personally, my body can tell the difference if I eat che more process or manufactured foods. One thing added, I purchase mainly from local farmers and I grow some foods myself.

  20. PneumaticMuffin - March 10, 2010 at 11:41 pm

Organic certification is provided by third-party groups that examine all producing facilities. Do a bit of research about each company. Organics means there is NO ; PESTICIDES, HERBICIDES, CHEMICAL FERTILIZERS and Genetically modified seeds, plus irradiation. That is the bottom line. Organic food dosnt contain ANY of the above mentionned. If I gave you a quarter every time you ingest 10mg of toxins, would you try to get a thousand bucks as fast as you can? make the math people!

  21. PneumaticMuffin - March 11, 2010 at 12:39 am

you are saying that chemicals, pesticides, herbicides, etc are beneficial to the environment ? Your mind is twisted.

  22. sensiblechic303 - March 11, 2010 at 12:59 am

who or how is organic certified? how do we KNOW the organic is truly organic and not just labeled that way so the producer isn’t price gouging? I want to buy more organic, but not so sure it’s truly healthy and worth the extra money.

  23. h7opolo - March 11, 2010 at 2:18 am

the reason those junky foods are cheap is because they really are made with byproducts depleted of all nutritional value. you get what you pay for, you are what you eat. saving money for an early grave?
